Today caught me off guard and I am posting just a bit late. Took these photos on Fox Island (Puget Sound) at the community center there. Almost every object seemed to long for the activities of Spring and Summer! Spring is now just 15 days away...but for some there will have to be a few more snow, sleet or rain storms before the GAMES begin!!! It can not get here fast enough for me!
Waiting for camp fire stories to be told...
Waiting for Grandparents and young mothers doting on the family youngster...
Waiting for someone to find the patio furniture and BBQ!
Waiting for Dad or Handy man to apply a fresh coat of paint
Wishing all a good week end and good health!

Good captures for the challenge. 15 days!?! Is it really that soon? Still getting snow here but you've given me hope not too much longer. ~Jeanne
What a lovely patio! I can almost smell BBQ and hear laughter ringing. You take very good photos! :)
Spring can't come soon enough for me either! I'm looking foward to all the spring activities you have portrayed.
Oh, I love those wooden doors! Weathered and beaten show the character of the wood. Thanks for some great examples of beautiful wood, doing its job for everyday needs.
Love the photos. I like those doors even without a fresh coat of paint. I'm waiting for spring and summer but I'm getting very impatient...lol

Very good. Now that I have spent 3 months there in the cold weather and snow, I can understand the longing for Spring.
Thanks for your visit to my photos also. It has been interesting to find your blog.
Great wood photos! Love the distressed wood of those doors--no paint needed! :))
